PALMERSTON NORTH – (19th August 2010) Kuhn completes its range of large capacity gyrorakes with central delivery, with the GA7501, specifically designed for medium sized farms looking for a rake with high working speed, which is also easy to use, compact and manoeuvrable.
With a working width varying from 6.85 to 7.45m, the GA7501 is equipped with two rotors with 11 arms each, and a diameter of 3.25m. It forms perfectly calibrated windrows from 1.35 to 1.95m which can be collected under the best conditions by the harvesting equipment.
The GA7501 is available in two versions to provide excellent ground adaptation under all conditions: a version with "Bogie axles" for uneven ground (pasture land under wet conditions, rutted or with rabbit holes…) and a four-wheeled "3D articulated" version for adaptation of rotors in all directions on hilly fields. Plant cover is thus preserved and harvesting of highly nutritional fodder promoted under all circumstances.
The other main assets of the GA7501 are as follows:
• Pivoting headstock, for total manoeuvrability and optimal safety: the main pto shaft sStays in line with the tractor even on the tightest bends;
• Large steerable wheels to counter the most restrictive stresses;
• Easy adjustment of working width and windrow formation by simply preselecting in transport position;
• Easy adjustment of raking height by simply turning a crank handle. For top quality collecting;
• Small transport dimensions with a width of only 2.55 m for high manoeuvrability on narrow wheels;
• Approval for driving at 40 km/h in most European countries.
