PALMERSTON NORTH – (16th April 2017) The new range of KUHN Gyrotedders series 1012 is expanding with the arrival of four mounted and trailed models: GF 8712 / 8712T and GF 10812 / 10812T (eight and 10 rotors respectively for working widths of 8.70 m and10.80 m).
The GF 10812 with its 10 rotors is the widest mounted machine in the KUHN offering for this segment.
New models in the 1012 series meet the requirements of medium and large-sized farms.
Tight plots and points are no longer a problem thanks to the HLC rotor-lift system. Simply activate the valve and the lift system to see all of the rotors lift 50 cm from the ground in less than five seconds:
- Easier manoeuvres
- Reduced risk of introducing impurities into the forage (only turned once).
The GF 8712 and 10812’s folding kinematics, transport wheels positioned in front of the rotors on the trailed models and the patented connecting system between the headstock and the frame on mounted models, make these machines highly compact, very stable, well dampened and very safe for transport. Accessing plots and clearing windrows becomes easy and road travel safe.
