PALMERSTON NORTH – (27th November 2017) The universal seed drill ESPRO 6000 R did very well during wheat and rape seeding in a test, carried out by the machine test centre of the German Agricultural Society (DLG). It received the widely recognized “DLG APPROVED” quality mark for its work quality.
ESPRO 6000 R convinced with optimum metering accuracy results in the lab test, which was conducted on a test bench in the French KUHN training and test centre. Also the lateral distribution was positively valued by the DLG experts.
Field tests were conducted with rape and wheat in the German region of Hessen. The ESPRO 6000 R drill achieved good to very good scores with both crops for metering accuracy, field emergence as well as longitudinal plant distribution.
In an interview DLG test engineer Georg Schuchmann states as far as the significance of the “DLG APPROVED” quality mark is concerned: “It stands for independently tested technology and is only awarded to machines of excellent quality.”
